MAUREEN MAYNE  grew up in the village of Cotuit on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She attributes the natural beauty of her childhood environment to be her inspiration for becoming an artist. Throughout her lifetime, Maureen has followed her appreciation of nature and the light that illuminates it to beautiful places around the world. She has lived, and painted in Europe, South America, Hawaii, California and the Caribbean. Her instinctive love of color and light motivate her artistic expression and shine through in her vibrant impressionistic style. Her preferred medium is acrylics, but she has also used oils, watercolors and pastels to capture the scenic beauty of the world around her. Maureen now enjoys time between Cape Cod and Naples, Florida.
